There was a time when people rarely used more than one computer and now people rarely use only one computer. Almost everybody access to Internet from different terminals and devices. If an email is moved to starred folder from iPhone, the user will still see it in Inbox while accessing the email account from desktop.

Now IMAP is here to solve this problem. IMAP – Internet Message Access Protocol would update email information though out all the devices and changes made from one would be reflected in all. Even after its active support to provide high resolutions pictures during the recent Forest Fire raging in California, Google Earth is being questioned based on risk factors associated with satellite imaging.

The Times of India reported that Palestine militants in the Gaza Strip are using Google Earth for planning rocket attacks in Israel. Obviously a terrifying news, though Google has defended Google Earth saying that this is not the only source of world map online.

But the news can really sound horrifying once another related story comes under light. Google Earth has been showing Arunachal Pradesh as a part of China not India. The question is if militants plan for attacks based on such incorrect territorial lines, then the missile headed to C can devastate I anytime!

However, once The Telegraph reported the error, Google accepted it and promised a correction.

The simple thing is that these directories already have huge traffic and if your blog get listed there then you also can get a portion from them. So why not, get as many free things as possible.

5) Participate in Social Networking sites: Participate in many social networking sites like http://www.digg.com, http://del.icio.us/. There are lots of social networking sites available in the web, join them and post your stories there.

What exactly Google News has been doing so far? It displays snippets from different news sources and then sends visitors to the website where the news has been published. No more brokering! Google decided to buy content from The Associated Press in August 2007 and now the Google-AP fusion is live! News items are put on http://ap.google.com/article/, though no home page is still allotted.

w3guru-India speculates that as news items are now being displayed on Google’s own page, they can display Ads with News items. Google News has not been displaying any sponsored results or relevant ads so far. So more revenues from Ads.

Google can also tie up with more news sources in future, like cnn.google.com, uni.google.com, w3guru-india.google.com and so on. Let’s hope for the best.
