Mashable covered the news back in January this year! The rumor started spreading in November 2006! However, Mashable confirmed the acquisition of MyBlogLog by Yahoo! for $10 million.

However, it is not secret any more. MyBlogLog is now displaying the Yahoo! tag and members are requested to log in with Yahoo! id. Google took a hold on Blogger and then bought FeedBurner to penetrate in the blogging world. Yahoo! purchased MyBlogLog. It seems Search Engines are giving a lot of importance to Blogs. It won’t be surprising if in future traditional websites vanish and Blogs cover the whole websphere!
